Access to fresh water is a basic human right and a critical sustainable development challenge for the Wayuu community. A natural resource that has always been scarce in La Guajira, due to the region’s natural conditions, characterized by arid and desert landscapes.

Therefore, together with our partners and financial aids, we are working on improving the accessibility of clean water to the Wayuu communities.

Rural development and investment in agriculture is a powerful tool to eradicate poverty and hunger while bringing about a sustainable and healthy population.

Our programmes have an emphasis on promoting alternatives for a sustainable use of the land, such as delivering workshops on crop cultivation to improve the nutritional conditions of the community.
